Pourly Done started the way most pour ideas do — sitting in a bar, whiskey in hand, and asking ‘Why’ questions.

• Why are there great bottles sitting on the shelf that aren’t on the menu?
• Why does the server keep saying ‘Sorry, we’re out’ when I pick something from the menu?
• Why doesn’t the paper menu give me details like proof, tasting notes, and mash bill?
• Why can’t I find all the places near me that actually have Michter’s Toasted Barrel Rye on the shelf instead of just on paper.
• Why doesn’t somebody fix this?

Then I realized — ‘Hey — I’m somebody’ (no matter what my wife says…)

So I rolled up my sleeves, poured a dram, and got to work.

The PourlyDone App is for the people making pour choices — spirits enthusiasts who want to discover where to find what they’re looking for, log their tasting notes, and track every bottle in their home bar, and be the first to know about new events and products at their favorite places. It’s free and it’s on iOS and Android.

The Pourveyors Platform is for the bars, restaurants, distilleries, and retailers who want those enthusiasts to find them. Menu management, event publishing, and a direct connection to the people who care most about what’s behind the bar.
